01 Feb Ready to Kiss Plateaus, Road Blocks and Roller Coaster Results Goodbye for Good?
“Be patient and results will come”
I hate that quote. What a load of rubbish.
Business is hard, I get it.
Sometimes it can feel like a rollercoaster of ups and downs.
It can be discouraging and difficult to keep moving forwards when people tell you this is just part of business that you need to accept.
But is that really true? Should you just be patient and weather the storms?
I think you know what my answer is…
DO NOT be more patient, that is a very bad idea.
I want you to WIN, I want you to win more and I’m going to show you how!
Patience is the enemy of action.
Do not accept a situation that you don’t like, that’s just as bad as putting your head in the sand and hoping for the best – that’s gambling with your life.
So, I totally understand the frustration of roller coaster ups and downs by the way.
What I’ve found is that when you are on the up and winning, you feel amazing, you feel unbeatable, but the drop off, the roller coaster coming down – that hits harder than the upswing feels good if you know what I mean – that hurt is always so much worse.
And the worst thing, and what I see most commonly, is that the downside was either (1) completely unexpected or (2) unexpected and inexplicable – and that is worse!
If something happens that you didn’t expect but you can explain how it happened and why it happened afterwards – then you can plan for the future and systemise the problem out of your life and your business for good and future proof yourself.
BUT – if you’re riding the roller coaster and you don’t know why it’s happening, then you DO NOT have any control!
And that is terrifying. That is gambling with your business.
So if you are in category number 2 right now riding ups and downs but you don’t know why they’re happening and you’re wondering whether you should be more patient – no is the answer.
Do not be more patient.
What you need to do is to figure out what is holding you back, and what tactics and strategies you need in place now to get to the next level of business.
So truth is, there are these ceilings that you’ll hit in business when your strategy will no longer work.
Knowing when these ceilings and roadblocks are coming up is going to equip you ahead of time to get ready so you can keep growing without these roller coaster results.
That’s about really knowing what strategy to apply before you hit that corner.
It makes business a lot more fun and more profitable all the time.
If you knew for example what was coming around the corner and what you needed to do to prevent it from affecting you ahead of time, then you would just keep on growing – right?
So here’s the trouble, the trouble is that though that 80% of practice owners, they only take action well after their strategy has stopped working.

Well quite easily really.
Your strategies stop working when your growth stops or you experience roller coaster up and down results.
