I hear this pretty often and it absolutely grind my gears.

Today let’s tackle just that…

The other day Mark from my mastermind program asked me “How can I make my FB campaign perform better for my physio practice?”

That’s a very broad question.

Most likely there is a very specific reason why your FB campaign is not working the way that you want.

I’ll run you through the three classic areas that I see people stumble with every day.

Facebook marketing is by far the best way to attract new patients, and the good news is that – most people are doing it badly.

Not good for them, but it’s good for you when you do it right.

1. The first and most obvious area is the ad creative itself.

That’s about what your headline is on your newsfeed ad, what the offer is, and how it appears aesthetically.

Most ads I see that are not working, do not connect with their target audience.

They are either not interested in the offer, or the image and feel does not connect with them.

If nobody is relating to your ad, then they are not going to click on it.

There are a ton of elements that go into this section but the overall point I’m making is that people are not going to click on your ad if they don’t relate to it.

So that’s a classic error.


2. The next most obvious error, is where your prospect is sent from the ad itself straight to your home page.

Sending your audience to your home page is going to result in “bounces” where people bounce off your site very, very quickly.

And the result of this is that they are not going to take the next step with you, which is to make contact and book an appointment.

Instead, build a specific internal landing page within your site, or set up a separate landing page on what I call a subdomain using some cool landing page technology.

If people aren’t clicking on your ad, or they are but then they aren’t taking action – then one of these two classic errors is most likely happening.

Dozens of other expensive issues could be arising, but these are the two are the ones that I see day in day out and are costing people their entire campaign.


3. Finally another classic mistake is that you’re not taking advantage of all the features Facebook has to offer – namely REMARKETING.

I love that you can do some really cool stuff with remarketing.

So that if people don’t take up your initial offer, you can remarket to them and follow up with a second offer or ad to increase the success of the campaign.
